This website uses no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no social media buttons and no resources loaded from third-party servers. That is why you will never see a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in the browser in order to recognise it on subsequent visits. Article 22.2 of Spanish Act 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) requires users to be informed and to give their consent before any data storage or retrieval device is installed on their equipment, except those strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by them.
2. Cookies used on this site
None. No first-party or third-party cookies are installed, whether technical, personalisation, analytics or advertising cookies.
3. Local storage
The site does use one localStorage entry, which is a store within the browser itself and, unlike a cookie, is never sent to the server:
| Name | What it stores | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
adilco-theme | The value light or dark |
To remember whether you chose the light or dark appearance using the theme button | Until you clear the site data in your browser |
This is an interface preference expressly requested by the user, who activates it by pressing the corresponding button. Under the criteria of the Spanish Data Protection Agency set out in its Guide on the use of cookies, interface personalisation chosen by the user themselves is exempt from the duty to obtain consent. It contains no personal data and identifies no one.
4. Typefaces and external resources
The site's typefaces (Archivo, Instrument Sans and JetBrains Mono, distributed under the SIL Open Font License) are served from our own domain. They are not loaded from Google Fonts or from any other content delivery network, so the visitor's IP address is not disclosed to third parties on that account. Images and scripts are likewise hosted on our own domain.
5. Server logs
The hosting provider generates technical logs of the requests received, which include the IP address. These are not cookies and require no consent: they rest on the legitimate interest in the security of the service. They are detailed in the privacy policy.
6. How to clear local storage
You can delete the stored value at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage website data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and site data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Once cleared, the site simply follows the operating system's light or dark theme again.
